We are seeking a Purchasing Executive to join our dynamic team at SKINLAB BIOCHEM RESOURCES (M) SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in our procurement and inventory management processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing and logistics functions.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and other supplies required for production
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies and policies
• Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchasing and inventory
• Prepare and analyse purchase reports and data to support decision-making

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers
• Proficient in inventory management, including forecasting, replenishment, and stock control
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address procurement challenges
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
