Overview

Join the dynamic team at MM COSMETIC SDN BHD' as a full-time Purchaser based in Taman Desa Cemerlang Johor. This strategic role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operations of our manufacturing and logistics functions, supporting our growth ambitions within the Manufacturing industry.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies to meet production and inventory requirements
• Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers, including pricing, lead times, and quality standards
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to support production schedules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers, conducting due diligence and assessing their capabilities
• Implement and maintain efficient purchasing processes and procedures
• Analyse purchase data and generate reports to support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Purchaser or Procurement Specialist, preferably within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive supplier relationships
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in inventory management principles and supply chain optimisation
• Familiar with procurement software and data analysis tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across the organisation
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Only for Mandarin speaking to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
