Job description

Responsibilities

Develop and implement project work plans, schedules and planting programs aligned with business targets.

Manage and monitor daily operations across crop farming, Kelulut honey and smart farming sites.

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports, including field performance, financial status and risk assessments.

Supervise farm teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Coordinate procurement and logistics of agricultural inputs, machinery and farm materials.

Conduct data analysis and performance tracking for yield, cost and productivity monitoring.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety standards in all farm operations.

Collaborate with R&D, Product Development and Finance teams for project improvement and reporting.

Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Management or related field.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in project monitoring/business development.

Strong knowledge of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), farm mechanization and sustainable farming techniques.

Familiar with smart farming technologies (IoT sensors, irrigation systems or precision agriculture tools) is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, project tracking tools and agricultural data reporting systems.

Prior experience in plantation/agricultural or related industries will be an advantage.

Good presentation preparation and proposal paper writing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong proofreading and presentation abilities.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Ability to handle sensitive information securely and maintain confidentiality, adhering to privacy and data protection protocols.

Ability to work independently, proactively and resourcefully, with a pleasant personality.

Able to work under pressure and capable to meet tight deadlines.
