Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Experienced in handling end-to-end infrastructure projects.

about the job

The Project Manager will be a central figure in ensuring the successful and cost-effective delivery of projects, focusing on planning, execution, and team management, with a strong emphasis on site activities and quality control.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Financial & Performance Management: Monitoring project performance against budget, suggesting ways to meet/improve cost, and ensuring cost efficiency by minimizing waste (material, machinery, labor).

Project Planning & Scheduling: Planning and implementing projects to achieve performance objectives, and scheduling projects with logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines.

Regulatory & Client Relations: Arranging inspections and securing authority approvals. Building relationships with clients/consultants to obtain approvals and facilitate project completion.

Site & Resource Management: Preparing and implementing the Project Quality Plan (PQP), leading and coordinating all resources (including determining labor requirements and dispatch of workers).

Quality & Improvement: Ensuring personnel abide by the SOP and recommending improvements/new SOPs for better quality or regulatory compliance.

Subcontractor & Claims: Coordinating with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) on claim submission and verifying sub-contractor claims and timely submission.

Team Development: Providing guidance and coaching to subordinates/site personnel, and identifying/suggesting training for personnel capability/skill gaps.
