What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities):
Take full ownership of end-to-end project delivery for government building projects (from pre-construction through handover).
Lead and coach the site construction team, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.
Plan and track work progress against targets, removing roadblocks and driving timely decisions to keep the schedule on track.
Build strong working relationships with government authorities/personnel, ensuring clear communication, compliance, and swift approvals.
Anticipate issues, propose solutions, and make proactive, data-informed decisions that keep projects moving.
Oversee budgets, subcontractors, site logistics, and documentation to ensure seamless execution and compliance.
What do we need from you (Job Requirements):
At least 6 years’ experience managing building construction, ideally with a strong track record in government projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead site teams effectively and foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Confident, professional communicator with government authorities/personnel; familiar with relevant regulations, standards, and submission processes.
Focused on meeting work progress targets, with strong planning, coordination, and follow-through skills.
