Candidate must posses Professional Engineer (PE) Certificate/ Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC).

The Project Manager responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

The Project Manager shall work directly with clients and end user to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He shall coordinate with other Sectors to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a Project Director or Sector Director. Enhance Sector and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Project Manager responsibilities are generally as follows:-

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors/sub-consultant for the flawless execution of projects.
• Preparation of New Job Advice Sheet (NJAS) and commercial forecast expenditure and invoicing.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and update as required. The plan to be circulated to all team members and finance.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Report and upscale to management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors, sub-consultants, clients.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Ensure the deliverables are met timely and followed through.
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each deliverable.
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Use and continually develop leadership skills.
• Monitor, approve/reject time cost entered into the project, ensure the works are carried out effectively and within budget.
• Prepare Billing request to meet the billing milestone and expenditure.
• Monitor the Work-In-Progress (WIP) of the project and update the budget as required.
• Identify potential Variations of the project.
• Prepare project Close-out and Data sheets.
• Compliance to the companies QESH manuals and policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Comply to Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) requirements adhere by RBSB.
