Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a highly experienced project manager for infrastructure projects in Malaysia. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Construction Management or Engineering, with a strong preference for more than 20 years of relevant experience, particularly in bridges, earthworks, and geotechnical works. Responsibilities include ensuring project completion within budget and timeframe, overseeing construction operations, and leading all project contributors. Strong project leadership and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• More than 20 years of experience in Infrastructure Projects, especially in bridges works, earthworks, geotechnical works, and roadworks.
• Demonstrated experience in construction oversight and site planning.
• Ability to integrate efforts of all project contributors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on project progress to Project Director.
• Develop action plans to resolve risks affecting project execution.

Task and Responsibilities

Demonstrate experience in scheduling, construction oversight, site planning, change management, commissioning, reporting, document management and contract administration.

Ensures timely completion of the project and all works are carried out safely in accordance to specification with highest quality of work and within budget.

Responsible for integrating the efforts of all contributors on the projects.

Monitor and report to Project Director on the progress of all project activity, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost, schedule quality or risk profile.

Develop recommendations and action plans to resolve issues/risks affecting or likely to affect the successful execution of the project.
