Job summary

A leading construction management firm in Selangor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee daily maintenance and coordinate retail projects from design to completion. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CAD software, strong project coordination skills, and experience managing construction projects. This position demands excellent communication and organizational abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job description

Oversee and coordinate the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of factories, office, and outlet facilities.

Handle emergency repairs and urgent situations to ensure outlet operate smoothly.

Lead retail projects through all phases, including design development, authority approval, completion and handover.

Develop project execution plans, including floor plans, schedules and milestones, monitor progress and implement corrective actions to achieve project objectives.

Manage project budgets and overall cost control to safeguard financial performance.

Supervise site activities, resolve construction challenges, monitor quality and safety standards, and ensure timely delivery of works.

Coordinate closely and communicate well with internal teams and external stakeholders (contractors, consultants and authorities).

Key Requirements
  • Proven proficiency in CAD software, with a strong portfolio demonstrating drafting and design capabilities. Ability to create 2D drawings and able to interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with project management tools (eg. MS Project) is a plus
  • Strong project coordination skills, including budgeting, vendor management, scheduling and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing construction, renovation or fit-out projects from design to completion.
