Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering expertise in the preparation of business cases and the planning, design and management of allocated capital and compliance-related projects. With your strong organisational skills, you’ll manage budgets, timelines, and documentation in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Using your extensive project Engineering experience, you will recommend and implement plant modifications to improve plant operability, reliability and performance. With your strong sense of ownership and drive, you’ll take the lead in managing plant-wide CAPEX initiatives with clarity and confidence. Your strategic mindset and eye for detail will ensure seamless execution from planning through to commissioning. Through your clear communication and collaborative spirit, you’ll keep cross-functional teams aligned and engaged every step of the way. You will work collaboratively with the Engineering team you will use your input to deliver process and environmental cost reduction projects as well as work within the process departments for the development of the applicant’s understanding of the business. With a focus on safety, quality, and accountability, you’ll work closely with contractors—leading kick-off meetings, conducting safety briefings & documentation review. With your natural flair and focus on continual improvement within the business and assist in identifying every opportunity to improve projects and develop processes that achieve the business strategy and goals. As a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, you will ensure the completion of projects in a safe manner within approved budgets and targeted timeframes.
