Job summary

A leading marketing firm in Malacca is looking for a project coordinator to plan and implement branding projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience in brand promotion or marketing. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-department collaborations, monitoring project performances, and providing creative input. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is essential. This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills to enhance brand strategies.

Job description

1. Brand Project Planning & Execution – Plan project objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in line with company brand and marketing strategies. Ensure timely completion of branding and promotional campaigns that align with overall brand positioning.

2. Cross-Department & External Coordination – Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution and brand consistency across all touchpoints.

3. Progress & Performance Management – Monitor project progress, risks, and quality. Track and analyze performance data (e.g. brand exposure, engagement rate, conversion rate) and prepare regular project reports for management.

4. Problem Solving & Creative Support – Identify challenges during project execution and propose practical, timely solutions. Provide creative input for marketing ideas or brand enhancement initiatives.

5. Project Closure & Effectiveness Review – Compile post-campaign reports and analyze results to identify areas for improvement. Provide recommendations for future brand and marketing strategy optimization.

Job Requirements

1. Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Brand Management, Project Management, Mass Communication, or other related fields.

2. Experience – Proven experience in cross-department coordination, brand promotion, or marketing projects will be an advantage.

3. Professional Skills –

  • Strong understanding of branding, marketing project flow, and budget management.
  • Proficient in data analysis, campaign tracking, and report writing.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and execution skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and responsible, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing or brand collaborations is preferred.

4. Language Skills –

  • Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Malay. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
