Overview

PROJECT ENGINEER C&S – Responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects ensuring designs meet safety and quality standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets. This role requires strong technical expertise in civil and structural engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring that construction works are carried out in accordance with the construction drawings and specifications.
• Inspect workmanship and ensure compliance with the method of statement of construction.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors to resolve discrepancies in drawings.
• Ensure contractors comply with contract, plans, specifications, regulations, and standards.
• Monitor and maintain records of work progress at site according to the work schedule.
• Keep all test records or documents such as as-built drawings, method of statements, shop drawings, etc.
• Attend site meetings, technical meetings, sub-contractor meetings, and coordinate all site issues.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision and coordination of infrastructure works.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate tasks to meet daily targets.
• Ability to work independently, with initiative and responsibility.
• PC literate in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
• Willing to reallocate anywhere within Malaysia.
• Positive attitude and passion for work.
