A recruitment agency is seeking a Project Manager based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role involves overseeing projects to ensure they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities include planning, coordination, quality control, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in construction project or building services with 2–5 years of relevant experience. The position encourages independent work and requires effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
Project Management: Oversee and manage assigned projects to ensure they are completed within the agreed timeline, budget, and quality standards.
Planning & Coordination: Develop project schedules, allocate resources, plan material logistics, and coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners.
Quality Control: Ensure all work meets customer quality requirements, minimize defects and rework, and monitor subcontractor compliance with specifications.
Team Leadership: Guide, train, and motivate project team members to work efficiently and effectively.
Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate and maintain good relationships with government authorities, consultants, contractors, customers, suppliers, and shipping forwarders.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain proper project documentation, secure necessary approvals from authorities, and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Material Verification: Check and confirm that delivered equipment and materials meet contract specifications.
Degree in construction project, building services, or equivalent.
2–5 years of related experience.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
To manage projects and to provide technical and management guidance to the assigned PM or engineers. Monitoring all projects closely to ensure he/she managed the project within the given time, cost and quality constraint stipulated in the contract
