Job summary

A leading aerospace component manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Program Executive to coordinate project teams, ensuring successful project planning and meeting customer quality requirements. The role demands at least 3 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing setting and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential for liaising with both internal teams and external customers. • Liaise with customers on program queries and status.

To coordinate a cross functional proposal project team for capability & capacity study as well as project costing and final quotations.

To assist in ensuring that contract review meetings are conducted as when required.

To be responsible for overall project planning, scheduling and meeting customers’ targets and requirements.

To assist in ensuring that programs delivery, quality and contractual requirements are met.

To highlight major program issues to higher management, to plan and ensure program recovery actions are implemented successfully, when required.

To liaise with the customers on program queries, status and reports.

To conduct project meeting along with project team as scheduled.

What to expect:

To ensure overall project planning, scheduling, achieving customer’s quality requirements and delivery targets in accordance with project contractual requirements.

To support customer liaison, business development presentations, preparation and monitoring of quotations.

To plan and oversee all production schedule.

To understand all aspect of planning for continuous improvement.

Analysis and study machine capacity.

Reporting to: Senior Manager of Programs

Indirect Report:Nil

Experience and Personality Preference:

At least 3 years’ experience with extensive programs / project management in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

Skills, Knowledge Requirements:

Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.

High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

PC literate and able to use Microsoft Office software packages.

Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department harmony.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field.
