Job summary

A major IT service provider is seeking a Program Director to lead a multi-year implementation program for a large insurance organization. This role involves overseeing program governance, managing multiple vendors, and ensuring successful delivery across all workstreams. Candidates should have over 15 years in IT delivery, with significant experience in large-scale transformation projects. Knowledge of the Life Insurance domain and eBao/InsureMO experience are advantages. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT delivery, including 8+ years in large-scale transformation or core-system programs.
• Ability to manage multi-vendor engagements as the prime delivery partner.
• Knowledge of Life Insurance domain and familiarity with eBao / InsureMO is advantageous.

Job description

As the prime delivery partner, FPT is leading a multi-year eBao / InsureMO implementation program for a large insurance organization. The Program Director will provide overall direction, governance, and stakeholder management across multiple delivery tracks involving configuration, customization, integration, and data migration. The role will require close coordination with eBao and other participating vendors to ensure end-to-end delivery success.

• Lead overall program governance, planning, and execution across all workstreams.
• Serve as the primary delivery lead for FPT, overseeing execution and collaboration with eBao and other vendors.
• Define and manage program KPIs, milestones, and quality frameworks.
• Establish and chair governance meetings, risk reviews, and steering committee sessions.
• Oversee delivery of configuration, integration, and migration workstreams.
• Drive alignment across internal (onsite/offshore) and external partners.
• Ensure timely delivery within agreed scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15 + years in IT delivery, including 8 + years in large-scale transformation or core-system programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-vendor engagements as the prime delivery partner.
• PgMP / PMP / Agile Program Management certification preferred.
