Job summary

A leading automotive quality assurance company in Gombak is seeking a Quality Control Officer. This role involves ensuring adherence to product and process standards during production. Responsibilities include managing engineering change activities and supporting warranty analysis. Candidates should possess at least a diploma in Engineering or Science and ideally have experience in the automotive industry. Communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu are essential for effective reporting and coordinating with clients.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a quality role in the automotive industry is advantageous.
• Ability to make reports and present findings effectively.

Job description

To support product and process adherence to standards, to print and to customer requirements during program phase and for transfer to mass production phase.

To ensure approved products are shipped to the customers, all Engineering Change Management activities and support related improvement programs.

To support warranty analysis process including all required tests to determine reasonability for all field failures.

Accountabilities:

Support in develop QA concept in compliance with standards and requirements and ensure application in mass production.

Responsible in quality tasks and complete deliverables according to customer programs, engineering changes and maintain data in customer portals.

Responsible to ensure all quality related Engineering Change Management activities, including manages quality tasks at production trials.

Develop launch containment plan and necessary inspection instructions besides, manages deviations (product, process) in series production.

Review of customer requirements and customer specific requirements besides, to include customer specific requirements in the internal product audit checklist.

Responsible that only products approved are shipped to the customer.

Reviews part handling practices at the customer assembly line to check the adequate use of our products.

Assists in customer complaint resolution process and follow up related action plans.

Support in maintain and update Control Plan as well as inspection plan.

Support in all activities related to warranty process including receiving, testing, disposition, root cause analysis, and corrective action.

Requirement Profile:

Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering, Science or equivalent.

1 year working experience in a quality role in automotive industry is a plus point.

Familiar with quality tools and reading engineering drawing is a plus point.

Good in making report and present the findings to the superior.

Good communication in English and Bahasa Melayu.
