Job Summary
  • Responsible for the performance of the production/manufacturing sector assigned, through hierarchical leadership of teams.
  • Aligns resources with needs in the short and medium term, develops training plans for standardized work, leads short interval management, and escalates issues as necessary.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S standards, report and manage incidents and near misses, and be accountable for safety at the designated sector.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and proper process application to meet quality requirements.
  • Participate in weekly production planning and ensure daily targets are met, optimizing operations.
  • Track progress, analyze production data, and report performance to management.
  • Identify and resolve production issues to prevent delays.
  • Achieve production schedules related to cost, quality, and lead time objectives.
  • Collaborate in load/resource balancing with the Production Manager.
  • Lead daily team meetings in the sector.
  • Support leadership and value-added activities on the shop floor.
  • Organize team training and manage workforce versatility.
  • Contribute to process improvements with support functions.
  • Maintain effective communication within the team and with other departments.
Job Requirements

Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial, or equivalent.

Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing production management or related activities.

Knowledge and Skills: Strong safety, customer focus, quality mindset, communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality standards, influencing skills, performance management, problem resolution, and data analysis skills.

Desired Skills: Change management, supply chain & planning, maintenance.
