A leading food production company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring that production meets food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment and possess a relevant diploma or certificate. Strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills are essential. The role requires working in rotating shifts and beyond normal hours when necessary.

Qualifications

Job description

Oversee daily operation of production by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring work flow.

Ensure production meet the Food Safety, Quality standards and daily production target.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate & execute production operation as per plan to meet delivery time of which complies to established Quality Standards, Rules & Regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to operators & team leaders to understand & to follow established SOP during production operation.
• Compile shiftly & verify all updated production documents/checklists such as Cleaning checklist, production monitoring sheets etc.
• Ensure operations comply to the parameters established and inform production executives if changes made on the line.
• Coordinate & Lead Team Leaders during change over product and comply to standards duration.
• Responsible to shift operation which includes rotation of break time as well as a relief operator to ensure continuous production operation.
• Manage & elevate breakdown with correct information to production Executives for further actions.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and liaise with Engineering or Quality Assurance technician based on needs.
• Able to analyse and conduct basic problem solving on the breakdown issues.
• Reduce wastages during operation by coordinating recycle dough and managing breakdown to maximise output.
• Perform & coordinate basic lubrication & maintenance during operation.
• Ensure and verify daily stock usages and maintain healthy stocks.
• Any other duties as required and assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in Food manufacturing environment.
• Certificate / Diploma in related field.
• Computer literate (Microsoft application) and good understanding of production system.
• Able to read and write Malay, English.
• Strong leadership, drive for results, detail oriented and problem‑solving skills are essential.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to work in rotating shift.
• Able to work beyond normal working hours when needed.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
