Production Supervisor
As Intretech production supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, supporting operators, and ensuring that manufacturing operations run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established quality standards. This role acts as a key link between operators and management, driving team performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Support
- Assist in coordinating team activities and ensure all team members clearly understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide day‑to‑day guidance, motivation, and support to operators to maintain smooth production flow.
- Operational Oversight
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with SOPs, quality requirements, and production targets.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, escalating critical matters to the Assistant Manager when necessary.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track and evaluate team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare performance reports and provide constructive feedback to support employee growth and continuous improvement.
- Training & Development
- Assist in onboarding new employees and provide ongoing training to enhance skills and technical knowledge.
- Identify training needs within the team and coordinate necessary development initiatives.
- Safety & Compliance
- Conduct regular safety checks and ensure strict adherence to safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized working environment at all times.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, team performance, and operational incidents.
- Prepare regular reports on production output, issues, and team progress.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross‑functional departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Facilitate effective communication between operators, supervisors, and management to ensure alignment with production objectives.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Good understanding of production processes, quality standards, KPIs, and safety regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, production systems).
- Willingness to work shifts and adapt to a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
