Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage staff and production processes. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with at least 2 years of experience. This role may require weekend work and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
• Daily productions reports such as M&W report / create & close the manufacturing order (MO).
• Maintain 5S & housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• To have an active role in the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.
• Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• To review VSM, TPM and PM activities.
• To review & update all SOP related to process and machine maintenance.
• To work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools.

Qualifications
