Production Process Technician (Tablet, Capsule & Sachet)

We are looking for a hands-on Production Process Technician to support machine setup, smooth production, correct dosing and in-process control.

This role requires strong practical experience in operating and troubleshooting solid dosage and sachet machines.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Machine Setup

• Set up tablet compression, capsule filling, and sachet filling machines before production
• Perform machine changeover, tooling installation, and trial runs
• Ensure machines are correctly adjusted to achieve target output and dosage accuracy

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on tablet, capsule, and sachet machines
• Inspect and maintain machines to reduce breakdowns and downtime
• Identify wear or parts needing replacement and coordinate with maintenance team or suppliers

Machine Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot machine jamming, stoppages, and minor mechanical issues during production
• Adjust machine parameters to ensure smooth and stable operation

Dosing & In-Process Control (IPC)

• Ensure tablets, capsules, and sachets meet target dosage and content consistency
• Perform and record in-process checks (IPC)
• Take corrective action when results are out of specification

Production Support

• Support first batches and new product trials
• Reduce rejects, rework, and downtime
• Ensure production follows GMP and SOP requirements
• Maintain good housekeeping and line discipline

Requirements

Must Have

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical Technology, or related field
• 3–6 years hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing
• Experience with tablet press, capsule filler, and/or sachet machine
• Able to perform machine setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting independently
• Familiar with in-process checks (IPC) and GMP production environment
