Job summary

A manufacturing company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Production Planning Executive to create and manage production schedules. The role involves ensuring that customer demands are met through effective planning and inventory control. Successful candidates will have at least a diploma and relevant experience, or be fresh graduates. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of production planning systems, including SAP, are required. The position demands good analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate Monthly and weekly Production Schedule based on forecast and customer’s purchase order.
• Responsible for production planning analysis and inventory control.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand customer orders and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production plan vs actual output to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare Daily Production Plan vs Output report.
• Prepare Monthly Delivery Instruction to local major suppliers.

What is the Main Responsibility for Production Planning Executive?

Production Planning Executive is an operation who creates the production schedule for the manufacturing of products and to ensure that customer demands are met.

Job Description:-

To generate Monthly Production Schedule and weekly Production Schedule based on forecast and customer’s purchase order.

Responsible for production planning analysis as well as inventory control to maintain safety stock level.

Responsible for slow moving product and ageing stock monitoring and control.

Liaise with internal department to understand customer order and delivery schedule.

Ensure smooth and efficient workflow in planning activities.

Work closely with production to monitor production plan vs actual output in order to meet customer requirement.

Liaise with production team on all matters regarding delivery schedule.

Highlight and escalated issues that may lead to potential delay in delivery.

To prepare Daily Production Plan vs Output report.

Prepare “Monthly Delivery Instruction” to local major supplier.

Any ad hoc job as assigned time by time.

Diploma and above in any discipline.

At least 2 years relevant working experience or fresh graduates.

Innovative, self-motivated and have a good analytical mind.

Required Skill(s):-

Computer literate such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word &Power Point.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to this position required a lot of communication with internal department.

Basic knowledge of production planning, scheduling and manufacturing control system.

Experience in SAP system knowledge is added advantage.
