Job summary

A manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan, Seremban is seeking a candidate to manage production planning, ensuring the timely availability of materials and coordination among various departments. Responsibilities include preparing material plans, scheduling production jobs, managing supplier orders, and ensuring delivery commitments are met. Candidates should be proactive in resolving discrepancies and should liaise effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers. Responsibilities

• Prepare materials planning for production loading.
• Assist the production department to schedule for production jobs planning.
• Responsible for direct raw materials purchase requisition to ensure sufficient direct materials are available for production.
• Coordinate with store personnel in ordering and delivery of direct raw materials.
• Identify and resolve supplier and internal errors that result in budget or schedule discrepancies.
• Follow up with sales department on delivery plan to ensure delivery schedules are met.
• Monitor quality, service, and delivery issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor, analyze, and report performance to schedule of production activities.
• Follow up with production on delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and controlling to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare all printing materials at planning stage.
• Ensure shipment commitments to customer are met.
• Liaise with customer, marketing, production, logistics, and purchasing to ensure all customer requirements are met.
• Assist in any ad hoc task requested by superior or manager.
• Prepare material consumption upon order received and raise requisition for material needs.
• Determine quantity and order date to meet production.
• Monitor and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on timely delivery of materials.
