Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager for our sheet metal manufacturing operations. The incumbent will manage production activities, including turret punching, bending, welding, and assembly, while liaising with internal teams to ensure operational excellence, quality standards, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate the entire production process from planning to execution.
• Organize workflow to meet specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes and resolve operational issues proactively.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel, including direct and indirect workers and supervisors.
• Determine resource requirements (workforce, raw materials, equipment) for smooth operations.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities and equipment purchases.
• Ensure outputs meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Enforce strict health and safety practices to maintain zero-accident rates.
• Contribute to production planning, budgeting, and reporting of key metrics.
• Lead quality assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or Supervisor with strong knowledge of production management.
• Experience in the sheet metal industry is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, managerial, and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, health & safety regulations, and budgeting.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bill of materials.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and results-driven approach.
• Mechanical design skills are an added advantage.
