Job description

PRODUCTION MANAGER (PLASTICS INJECTION MOLDING)

Planning and coordinating production activities as well as the work of subordinates.

Managing inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands, work closely with supply chain team

Recommending process improvements to enhance product quality and capacity

Monitoring and implementing quality control programs

Investigating production issues, waste and developing resolutions

Production planning with a focus on forecasting of material requirements and manpower utilization

Coordinate on production schedule & planning and to prepare &submit a monthly production report.

To monitor overall quality and output of production, QC and packing and ensuring customer requirements are met.

To review production line cleaning, safety and preventive maintenance

To constantly look into improving productivity and reducing rejects, waste and together with Technical & Facilities team

To review and update the quality system procedures and work instructions for the department

Prepare department budget for submission to Account Department

Ensure the department KPI and targets are achieved

To investigate and discuss with the team if not achieved.

To plan and approve duty roster for the department.

Ensure sufficient resources (manpower) for the department to operate effectively and efficiently.

Ensure compliance of work safety practice.

Enforcing company rules and regulations.

Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and on time delivery.

Manage a team of production personnel, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.

Work closely with the Quality Control ,Technical & Facilities department to maintain consistent product quality.

Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Manage & control inventory levels of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.

Generate production reports and 4m analysis.
