PRODUCTION MANAGER (PLASTICS INJECTION MOLDING)
  • Planning and coordinating production activities as well as the work of subordinates.
  • Managing inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands, working closely with the supply chain team.
  • Recommending process improvements to enhance product quality and capacity.
  • Monitoring and implementing quality control programs.
  • Investigating production issues, waste, and developing resolutions.
  • Production planning with a focus on forecasting material requirements and manpower utilization.
  • Coordinating on production schedule & planning and preparing & submitting a monthly production report.
  • Monitoring overall quality and output of production, QC and packing to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Reviewing production line cleaning, safety, and preventive maintenance.
  • Continuously improving productivity and reducing rejects and waste, in collaboration with Technical & Facilities team.
  • Reviewing and updating the quality system procedures and work instructions for the department.
  • Preparing department budget for submission to Account Department.
  • Ensuring the department KPI and targets are achieved, and investigating discrepancies with the team.
  • Planning and approving duty roster for the department.
  • Ensuring sufficient resources (manpower) for the department to operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with work safety practices.
  • Enforcing company rules and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and on‑time delivery.
  • Managing a team of production personnel, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Working closely with the Quality Control, Technical & Facilities department to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting production issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Managing & controlling inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Generating production reports and 4‑M analysis.
  • Carrying out other duties or tasks as assigned by superiors from time to time.
