Job summary

A leading food and beverage company is seeking a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in F&B management. The role entails establishing strategic direction, managing production activities efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving key performance indicators. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Food Processing or Culinary. Familiarity with Safety Health and Environment, lean manufacturing, and Halal requirements are advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Processing, Culinary or equivalent with more than 5 years' experience in a role requiring management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in F&B management.

  • Control budget and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
  • Continuously improve methods and monitor production results.
  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and achieve KPIs.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Establish and commit to strategic direction by top management to accomplish long‑term goals or objectives by analyzing factual data and/or reasonable assumptions, taking into consideration resources, constraints, and organizational value.
  • Break down production strategies or business initiatives into key tasks and identify accountabilities by aligning communication, people, culture, processes, resources, and systems to ensure effective implementation and delivery of required results.
  • Understand and utilize economic, financial and industry data to accurately diagnose production strengths and weaknesses, identify key issues, and develop strategies and plans.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Fulfill internal and external customer satisfaction and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by superiors.
  • Direct and coordinate total production activities by maximizing output within defined quality levels and forecast requirements at minimum cost through efficient resource utilization.
  • Control and manage budget, plan and program to ensure optimum utilization of available equipment, resources and labour to attain production objectives/targets.
  • Continuously improve methods, effectiveness and resource utilization, and critically review and monitor production results.
  • Perform any other related tasks as deemed suitable by management for departmental/factory KPI achievements.
People Responsibilities
  • Passionately sell production/strategy by creating a clear view of the future state, helping others understand and feel how things will be different when the vision is achieved.
  • Use appropriate delegation to create a sense of ownership of higher‑level organizational issues and encourage individuals to stretch beyond current capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Processing, Culinary or equivalent with more than 5 years’ experience in a role that requires managing subordinates.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in F&B management.
Good to Have
  • Familiarity with Safety Health and Environment and Halal requirement.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and machine/equipment life cycle.
