Overview

You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective production operations to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Simpang Ampat Penang. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's manufacturing to support its growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets
• Optimise production processes and workflows to enhance productivity, efficiency and quality
• Monitor and analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
• Manage and coordinate the activities of production teams, ensuring they are properly trained and motivated
• Work closely with the procurement, quality assurance and logistics teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations
• Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to proactively address equipment and facility issues
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the glove/plastic/shoe manufacturing
• Proven track record of driving production efficiency, quality and cost improvements
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills
