Responsibilities
  • Direct production team, manage performance, collaborate with across-functionalteam, and deliver results to support the overall business needs.
  • Promotes and assures a safety-conscious workforce and maintains goodhousekeeping practices (5S+) throughout production lines. Ensuresproductperformance and cost objectives are met.
  • Ensure that the production line is running smoothly by achieving dailybuildtargets; and meeting KOFs such as Cost Objectives, Quality, and Yield.
  • Review hourly, shift-by-shift and day-to-day production performance anddiscusswith the team (Planning, Engineering, Quality, IE, R&D) and collecttheirinputsof actions for Continuous Improvement (CI).
  • Analyze occurrences of production issues and recommend immediate andlong-termactions.
  • Create and update manufacturing procedures (SOP/Work Instructions) thatcaneasily be adapted by the operator and in the most efficient method inproducinga product and ensure that each personnel (Production Operators) clearlyunderstands and is certified by way of orientation/training.
  • Continuously improve Line Balance Index (%LBI), Takt Time, ManningTarget,UPH/bottleneck of the line by analyzing cycle time/elemental workload ofeachstation/operator and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with NPI, R&D, Engineering, and Planning on the launch ofnewproducts, new product options, and new processes to ensuremanufacturabilityandoperational readiness (Design phase to functional and to Industrialphase)willbe achieved in a given timeline and target cost.
  • Review and approve ECO/ECN and ensure that changes are clearly definedontheaffected station/process through SOP/Work instruction revision.
  • Updates and Improves work methods and skill levels of the personnelthroughtraining. Monitors employee performance and provides appropriatecoachinganddevelopment.
  • Update my stakeholder/sponsor/superior through timely basis reports ofmyProduction KPI/KOFs’ and other given tasks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Master is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience performing relevant operations leadershipandproduction scheduling activities.
  • Experience in large-scale EMS/ODM manufacturing and engineeringmanagement.
  • Recent experience with forecasting and production planning systems.
  • Recent experience working with contract manufacturers.
  • Strong team management and resource coordination abilities.
  • Results-oriented, highly logical, clear-thinking, and driven.
