Responsibility
- Manage production to ensure smooth operations based on the production plan.
- Request raw materials (RU) from inventory according to production planning.
- Follow production SOPs to ensure products meet standard quality and minimum requirements.
- Update and monitor daily activities in the ERP (U8) system.
- Maintain and improve workers’ performance to achieve daily targets.
- Evaluate workers’ performance and provide guidance to team leaders to boost productivity.
- Compile and analyze data for the weekly report, verified by the Production Assistant Manager.
- Resolve any production issues such as equipment breakdowns, batch mixing errors, or SOP misunderstandings.
- Collect data and analyze each batch issue through costing calculations.
Communicate with other departments to resolve production-related problems, such as:
- Maintenance issues with the Admin Department.
- Product quality concerns with the QA & QC Department.
- System-related issues (U8) with the Accounts Department.
- Participate in daily and weekly production planning meetings.
- Ensure stock and materials availability by monitoring the pre-ordering schedule.
- Collaborate with the QA & QC Department on research and development activities when required.
Provide coverage for other supervisors during manpower shortages, including:
- Monitoring workers in each section.
- Calculating and recording “worker distribution”.
- Managing worker attendance.
- Controlling stock, tools, and facility usage.
- Updating daily stock and production reports.
- Managing “date out” stock for the next section.
- Entering data into the U8 system.
- Updating daily production status.
Assist in preparing reports requested by the Head of Department (HOD) or related to production, such as:
- Yearly production productivity reports.
- Yearly production budget reports.
- Latest picking machine reports.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
