Job description

As a Production Executive, you will monitor, control, and evaluate production and safety processes to meet productivity, scrap, quality and safety targets. You will manage a group of supervisors and workers, and implement and follow up on all production activities as per Sonoco’s Production and Quality Manual.

Responsibilities

They must also strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of operations through problem solving, innovative thinking and effective implementation of improvement and corrective/preventive action plans.

Education and Academic Background

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing Management/Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working and supervising experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment
• Exposure and experience in consumer packaging will be an added advantage

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience in daily management of production processes including production planning & control, material & inventory and manpower planning
• Experience and knowledge in improving operational efficiencies through productivity gains and cost reduction programs
• Experience in troubleshooting production issues and analyzing root cause
• Experience and involvement in production quality management towards achieving customer satisfaction
• Knowledge in Food Safety Management System will be an added advantage
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Highly motivated, willing to take initiatives and follow up with details
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
• Works well in a team environment and able to work under challenging situations
• Possess strong leadership and good organizational skills
