Requirements
- Able to read, write, and communicate in Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Well‑versed in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong ability in production planning and scheduling.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Production Planning & Coordination
- Execute daily and weekly production plans for switchboard assembly.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and tools efficiently to meet production targets.
- Monitor progress against schedules and report deviations.
Assembly & Quality Control
- Supervise assembly of LV/MV switchboards, busbars, wiring, and components according to drawings and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to IEC, ANSI, or local electrical standards.
- Conduct in‑process inspections and coordinate with QA/QC to resolve defects.
Team Supervision & Training
- Lead and guide assembly technicians, wiremen, and helpers.
- Provide on‑the‑job training to new hires on assembly techniques and safety protocols.
Materials & Inventory Management
- Check availability of components (circuit breakers, contactors, relays, copper busbars, etc.) before starting jobs.
- Liaise with the store/warehouse to ensure timely material supply.
Process Improvement
- Suggest and implement improvements for productivity, ergonomics, and waste reduction.
- Participate in lean manufacturing or 5S initiatives.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
Reporting
- Prepare daily production reports (output, downtime, material usage).
- Highlight issues affecting delivery timelines.
