Job description
Responsibilities
  • Equipment and Process Support: In accordance with company equipment maintenance standards and process control requirements, cooperate with engineers to perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, lubrication, tightening, and other routine maintenance activities. Identify, report, and track potential equipment or process risks in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting and Failure Handling: Assist engineers in troubleshooting and repairing equipment and production line failures. Perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions under engineering guidance to minimize downtime and ensure stable operation.
  • Equipment Operation Monitoring: Support equipment installation, setup, commissioning, and operational monitoring. Monitor key operating parameters in real time and provide technical and operational guidance to production line operators to ensure safe and stable manufacturing processes.
  • Production Abnormality and Quality Control: Conduct preliminary analysis and timely handling of production line abnormalities. Assist engineers in collecting and verifying relevant data, support root cause analysis and corrective actions, and supervise process execution and product quality during production.
  • New Product and New Equipment Validation: Participate in new product introduction (NPI), new process, and new equipment validation activities. Provide data support for process development and engineering teams, and assist process, test, and equipment engineers in evaluation, calibration, debugging, and validation activities.
  • Technical Documentation Management: Maintain and support the preparation of product, process, and equipment documentation, including technical specifications, validation records, test reports, and work instructions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
  • Technical Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate materials and components to ensure compliance with technical and process requirements. Support the refinement of product and process specifications based on performance, safety, quality, and cost-efficiency considerations, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional and Supplier Collaboration: Communicate performance issues, defects, or deviations with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers. Support corrective and preventive actions and contribute to the implementation and improvement of technical specifications.
  • Compliance and Training Support: Ensure activities comply with applicable industry regulations, safety requirements, and performance standards. Support or conduct technical training sessions related to equipment operation, process control, testing procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Other Assigned Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
  • At least a certificate, or diploma and above in Mechatronic/Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software (e.g., CAD/CAM, ERP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in debugging or troubleshooting PCB will be priority.
  • Strong in communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Have strong written and spoken Mandarin (will be added advantage as it will require interaction with the counterpart from China) and English skills.
  • Able to complete other tasks assigned by superiors/management.
