Job description

• Candidate must possess a degree preferably in Chemical Engineering.
• At least two (2) years relevant working experience in continuous or batch chemical process manufacturing environment or any other related field with proven track record.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Matured, analytical, self-starter and independent.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and speaking)
• Competent person in CePIETSO-BP is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the right quality and quantity of production.
• Ensure the record keeping and samplings are done properly for quality analysis.
• Liaise with subordinates to understand and solve problems arising.
• Monitor and maintain data analysis for any process improvement.
• Execute daily operations following ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ to reduce risk when working.
• Represent Production Department when liaising with other departments for repair works, troubleshooting, quality reassurance etc. to ensure optimum condition of the plant.
• Screen, plan and authorize other works in areas inside the plant accordingly with minimum downtime or no disturbance to production.
• Prepare incident report involving people, Company properties or production loss inside the premises within 24 hours for immediate action.
• Ensure all emissions from the premises are within specifications of the Department of Health regulations for a healthy environment.
• Administer and plan the manpower for shifts for smooth and conducive working environment.
• Manage the workforce for any breakdowns or emergency shutdowns based on requirements.
• Handling waste water treatment operation.
