Job description

This role will be hired under OSK Group member company named Acotec Sdn Bhd.

Acotecis an Integrated Building System manufacturer which hold the exclusive rights to manufacture Acotec Wall Panel, a hollow core precast wall in Malaysia.

We are currently seeking a motivated and well-organized \"Product Development Manager with a strong ability to prospect and build lasting customer relationships to join our team. Someone who is strong and consistently identifies new business opportunities, understands the machinery, and is able to procure new machines to ensure smooth operational performance.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
  • To ensure production meets quality, safety and health & safety.
  • In-charge for resources planning and allocation among the production floor to achieve day to day production target and production schedule are met.
  • To ensure effectiveness of internal processes in compliant with company policy and objective.
  • To liaise with all functional department to ensure day to day operation requirement is met to the expectation.
  • To responsible for production plan & fulfilment, OEE, VSM to drive productivity improvement.
  • To participate in regular cross functional meeting and on-going update the challenges in production activities.
  • To provide input and advice, to support the Factory Manager regarding Production efficiency, risk management and continuous improvement.
  • To participate process improvement and new project related to production upgrade or efficiency.
  • Manage and supervise production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • To ensure safety and health protocols are adhered.
  • To help the identify quality problems by proposing and applying appropriate solutions to improve the standard.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement where all associates are involved in the improvement process and there is constant interaction with plant leadership and associates on the floor
  • Involve in internal and external audit.
  • Lead site adherence to the Quality Management System and reduction in the cost of poor quality
  • Drive best in class 5S and housekeeping expectations.
  • Other assigned duties as required
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Industrial)
  • At least 5-7 Year(s) of working experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in Precast
  • Have working experience and knowledge in concrete products
  • Able to multi-tasking and learn new things.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
