Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to develop and implement quality control processes for new products. The role involves conducting inspections, documenting failure analysis, and training the after sales support team. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, strong communication skills, and proficiency in technical reporting. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

Job description

Develop and implement comprehensive quality control with monitor and maintain product quality throughout all new SKU product and after sales product.

Conducting thorough inspections and product test of all new SKU product quality & function specification before launch to market.

Documenting and reporting on failure analysis rate (F.A.R), identifying trends and recommending corrective actions for product improvement.

Collaborating with QC teams to identify root cause of the product & improvement action plan taken.

Ensuring the company's quality standards and compliance with manufacturing to meet our customer expectation.

Conduct training and mentor to after sales support team on technical troubleshooting, online coach authorized service team & call centre in basic FAQ support.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the manufacturing industry, after sales support or technical support.

Strong in quality control principles, practices, and techniques.

Proficient in doing technical report, specifications, and product samples for new SKU product / after sales product.

Problem-solving and analysis skills, with the ability to think critically and identify root causes of quality issues on the product.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.

Computer savvy good in excel, word and power point.

Relevant qualifications in electrical, electronic or mechatronic or a related field in kitchen appliance would be an advantage.
