A leading consumer electronics company is seeking a Product Manager in Kuala Lumpur to develop product strategies and manage marketing functions. Responsibilities include coordinating sales, pricing strategies, and monitoring market trends to achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the consumer electronics or subscription industry, and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Responsible for the product management, product marketing, pricing, positioning, profitability and PSI management.
Develop product annual strategy, policies, practices, programs and initiatives for assigned products based on consumer insight and market dynamics to capitalize on competitive opportunities in order to meet or exceed the volume, market share and profit objectives.
Keep track of business and competitive trends, and advise senior management on relevant product positioning strategies.
Coordinate with sales function to design and implement sales, special offers, package deals, pricing & promotions, and customer incentives to facilitate creative selling.
Coordinate with sales to ensure monthly product sales forecast accuracy; and regularly monitor the outcome.
Develop effective pricing strategy to meet revenue and profit goals.
Develop and communicate product positions for key products through A&P, and marketing materials by working closely with the Marketing Department.
Manage product PSI effectively in order to meet revenue and profit goals.
