Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a strategic planner for product management. This role involves planning and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets, monitoring product effectiveness, and managing product lifecycle. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fields, with experience in FMCG. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. The position offers competitive compensation and dynamic work environment.

Job description

Make strategic planning for product that have been assign to achieve sales objective, profit and target percentages of monthly and annual.

To ensure the planning and implementation activity to follow the strategy has been set to achieve sales target and off take customers.

Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy and the report must be submitted to Marketing Manager.

Work together with Promotion Manager to ensure the strategy have been planned achieve same objective.

Work together with Research & Development Department and Market Research Department in the production of new product and the improvement of existing products.

Lead and collaborate with distributor, agency or others department related to product management.

Make a visitation to distributor at least once a month (not included Central Area) and prepare the report a week after the visitation.

Prepare and submit regular management reports and other related business activities.

Make analysis report development by monthly and annual.

Do a action plan to be taken for each national and regional distributor.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Food Science, or a related field.

Experience in product or brand management within FMCG or food manufacturing.

Strong understanding of FMCG markets, consumer trends, and retail channels.

Ability to manage products throughout their lifecycle, from launch to performance review.

Experience developing marketing strategies, promotions, and go-to-market plans.

Strong analytical and reporting skills to track sales and product performance.

Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.

Good communication, organization, and project management skills.

Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
