Job Summary

This role responsible to support Coway Malaysia in building a strong, competitive, and future-ready product portfolio. The Product Manager will drive strategic thinking and decision-making by leveraging data-driven insights from market trends, competitor benchmarking, and internal product performance. The objective is to support the development of strategic product roadmaps, new product initiatives, and continuous improvement plans to meet the company's sales and growth targets.

Full Product Lifecycle Management
  • Managing the full product lifecycle for all products in assigned categories, ensuring relevance, competitiveness, and profitability from launch to end-of-cycle.

Project Management
  • Lead category projects, including new launches, improvements, end-of-sales, and end-of-cycle actions to optimize portfolio performance by analyzing product sales performance and customer feedback to assess strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas.

  • Identify, evaluate, and source new products for market introduction by working closely with R&D, Procurement, suppliers, and external partners. Lead go-to-market readiness to ensure timely, cost-effective, and competitive product launches aligned with business strategy and customer needs.

Strategic Product Roadmap
  • Develop and execute product roadmaps by identify opportunities and product gaps to align with business direction, customer needs, and sales objectives.

P&L Ownership and Financial Performance
  • Manage the profit and loss (P&L) for assigned product categories, ensuring revenue growth, margin optimization, and cost control. Monitor financial performance, pricing strategies, and cost structures to drive sustainable profitability.

Forecasting and Business Planning
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales, revenue, and demand forecasts for assigned product categories based on market demand and business objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (Marketing, Sales, R&D, Procurement, etc.) to align product strategies and gather cross-functional inputs for product initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Economics, or related fields.

  • Professional certifications in Data Analytics or Product Management are an added advantage.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in product strategy/management, business analysis, or strategic planning.

  • Preferably experienced in household and home appliances.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret data and trends effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate across functions.

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
