A leading consumer goods company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead brand strategies and execute marketing plans. The candidate will collaborate with sales, finance, and warehouse teams and ensure effective product management. A minimum of four years’ experience in brand management is required, along with strong interpersonal and project management skills. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, and Mandarin is a plus. This role offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth.
Lead in brand/trade strategies and marketing plan for portfolio assigned.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns activation, including building launch plan and review regulatory issues related to new product.
To develop and take lead in driving trade fundamentals i.e., establish the right merchandising guidelines & types of POSMs according to different channels.
Develop, monitor and track annual budgets on sales revenue and marketing expenditure to drive profitability of the brand. Recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual target.
Proactively seek out for new opportunities or identify business gaps through ongoing analysis/review of consumer, category, channel/customer and competitive study as part of brand performance situation assessment.
Build productive working relationship with sales team, finance and warehouse to manage day to day operations.
Work closely with factory to monitor packaging and inventory order/forecast to ensure stock availability.
Key liaison person working in collaboration with principal on brands’ expectation and direction. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report for business review.
Manage and coach direct report(s) to achieve individual and team goals.
