Role Summary

We are seeking a highly driven Product Manager to oversee the complete product lifecycle from planning, localization, and homologation to launch and post-market performance. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, market awareness, and the ability to translate customer and field insights into actionable strategies. The Product Manager will play a key role in ensuring local compliance, competitive positioning, and sales readiness.

Key Responsibilities
1) Product Lifecycle Management
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle including planning, specification alignment, introduction, maintenance, and phase-out
  • Define and maintain product roadmap aligned with business objectives and local regulations
  • Coordinate with R&D, HQ, logistics, and local teams to ensure smooth delivery across all product stages
2) Market and Field Insights
  • Conduct regular on-ground surveys, dealer visits, and user feedback sessions to capture market trends, customer expectations, and competitor movements
  • Translate findings into actionable inputs for pricing, feature planning, and product localization
3) Sales Enablement & Dealer Communication
  • Conduct frequent product briefings, updates, and technical walkthroughs for Sales Advisors (SAs) and dealer staff
  • Prepare sales tools, competitive comparisons, and FAQ kits to strengthen sales confidence and product understanding
4) Competitive Intelligence
  • Continuously monitor competitor products, pricing, specifications, and technology trends
  • Develop internal reports and strategy briefs to guide decision-making and maintain competitive advantage
5) Product Marketing Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing team on go-to-market strategy, key messaging, and product positioning
  • Provide product input for marketing collaterals, launch events, and digital campaigns
6) Software & Feature Evaluation
  • Conduct software evaluation and testing for new OS or beta releases prior to product launch
  • Liaise with engineering and HQ to validate new functions, identify software bugs, and ensure readiness
7) Product Training Support
  • Conduct and support internal and external product training for new model launches and feature rollouts
  • Ensure consistent product knowledge across sales, aftersales, and customer-facing teams
8) Homologation & Regulatory Compliance
  • Coordinate with HQ and local authorities to ensure all product variants meet homologation, regulatory, and certification requirements
  • Manage documentation, testing schedules, and local adaptation necessary for type approval and product release
  • Track changes in local automotive regulations and ensure timely compliance updates
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in product management, preferably in the automotive or EV industry
  • Experience or familiarity with CKD (Completely Knocked Down) localization projects is a strong plus
  • Knowledge of homologation and regulatory processes preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management across HQ and local teams
  • Willingness to travel for market surveys, dealer visits, and authority coordination
