A global electronics company in Selangor is looking for a Procurement Specialist to develop innovative strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and manage supply chain operations. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, demonstrate robust negotiation skills, and be proficient in using SAP and Microsoft Office tools. This position offers opportunities to enhance procurement effectiveness and cost management in a dynamic environment.
Developing Procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Performing suppliers’ management in QCDS and taking improvement activities.
Approving supplier purchase allocations and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
Controlling the Procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Preparing Procurement reports and ensuring achieve Procurement KPI target.
Maintain and fulfil in Panasonic Global Procurement system.
Cost Management to increase company profit.
BCP management, response to SCM issue and take speedy action.
Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
Strictly Control & Manage total supply Loss Cost.
