A leading electronics company in Malaysia is looking for an experienced individual to lead and manage the Sourcing & Purchasing team. Responsibilities include planning and executing procurement strategies, evaluating and negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with internal departments to optimize operational needs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Lead, manage, and develop the Sourcing & Purchasing team.
Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement strategies to ensure timely supply of materials.
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage overseas and local suppliers for best quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
Work closely with Production, Sales, Finance, and other departments to support operational needs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
