To responsible for sourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods and services that meet the organization’s quality, cost and delivery requirements. This role ensures the procurement process is efficient, compliant and cost-effective, while maintain strong vendor relationships and contribution to the overall operational goals.
Job Responsibilities
i. Procurement Operations
- To source, evaluate, negotiate and purchase goods or services in accordance with the approved budget, quality standards and delivery timelines.
- To prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts and other related documents.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure long-term supply and favourable terms.
- Evaluate and assess suppliers’ performance based on quality, delivery, service and compliance.
- Source for alternative suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks.
iii. Cost & Quality Control
- To conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
- Ensure that purchased goods and services meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- To ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, statutory regulation and ISO standards (if any).
- To maintain proper procurement records, vendor agreements and service contracts for audit and reporting purposes.
- To prepare management reports on procurement performance, cost saving and vendor evaluations.
v. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments (finance, legal and other subsidiaries) to align procurement needs and priorities.
- Support project teams with sourcing and procurement activities when required.

Requirement
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related equivalent academic qualification;
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience (fresh graduates may be considers for junior roles);
- Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills;
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Bahasa Melayu and English;
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
