Job summary

A dynamic procurement company in Selangor is seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage procurement, inventory, and marketing coordination. The ideal candidate must have a degree and at least 2 years of experience in procurement, be fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This role involves liaising with executives and managing purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies. A good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential.

Working Hours: Mon - Friday (8.45am – 5.45pm), Alternate Saturday (8.45am-1.45pm)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage procurement, inventory, and marketing coordination.

  • Act as a liaison between executives, employees, clients, and external partners.
  • Manage purchase orders, requisitions, and document deliveries.
  • Review purchase invoices and manage minor accounting tasks.
  • Plan and purchase equipment, stationery, services, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Analyse and approve products and services for purchase.
  • Assist with sales, inventory, logistics, and marketing tasks.
  • Manage inventory systems and support marketing merchandise coordination.
  • Handle customer claims and control marketing costs.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records and information flow.
Requirements
  • Degree in any field.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (speaking and reading), English, and Bahasa Malaysia, with ability to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or similar roles, with experience in foreign currency imports.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving license.
  • Background in tyre trading and a Mathematics/Statistics major is a plus.
