A construction and logistics company based in Penang is seeking a procurement specialist to manage materials and machinery rentals, particularly supporting the CSA and MEP teams. The ideal candidate should possess at least a High Secondary education and be fluent in Chinese to handle documentation. Responsibilities include meeting operational requirements, ensuring compliance and savings, and supporting the tender process. This role also involves coordinating payments for suppliers, providing a dynamic environment within the construction sector.
Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
Candidates with materials procurement experience from any construction, infrastructure, or EPC contractor encouraged to apply.
Candidate fluent in Chinese (Verbal & Written) preferable due to the need handling Chinese language documents from HQ and liaising with vendor.
Candidate must be able to work alternative for weekends(Saturday).
