Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Penang is seeking to enhance its production team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the efficient and high-quality production of products by executing manufacturing solutions and supporting direct production line operators under supervision. The role requires an Associate's degree or Diploma in Electronics/Manufacturing/Engineering and preferably one year of related experience. Emphasis is placed on quality assurance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of completed Associate's degree or a Diploma in a related field.
• Preferred one or more years of related experience in manufacturing.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience accepting if they meet job accountabilities.

Purpose Statement

Through continuous learning and collaboration, I strive to optimize processes, identify and troubleshoot issues, and ultimately support Plexus's commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Executes Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Basic Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• A minimum of a One (1) year completed of an Associate's degree OR the completion of a Diploma in a discipline related to Electronics / Manufacturing / Engineering or Science.
• One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
