Job Description

Process Team Lead

• Lead and manage a team of process engineers across various stages of lithium battery manufacturing.

• Drive process improvements to enhance yield, reduce scrap and increase throughput in manufacturing line.

• Support scale‑up from NPI to mass production, ensuring process stability and equipment readiness.

• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including PFMEA, control plans, work instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Implement and support automation initiatives and advanced manufacturing technologies.

• Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for process related issues.

• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Maintenance, and Equipment Engineering to ensure successful product and process development.

• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC tools to drive continuous improvement and process control.

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead initiatives to meet or exceed targets.

• Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Process Engineer

• Design, develop and improve manufacturing processes.

• Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production and implement solutions to enhance yield, throughput and cost‑effectiveness.

• Collaborate with the Equipment Team to ensure proper installation, calibration and maintenance of equipment.

• Work with the Quality Team to analyze defects and implement corrective actions.

• Provide technical support to the Production Team to resolve process‑related issues.

• Monitor process parameters and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure manufacturing processes adhere to standards and requirements.

• Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Prepare reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and suggest data‑driven improvements.

• Prepare reports for any improvement or issue highlight.

Requirements

• Possess Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical, Material, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 3-7 years of working experience in process engineering. Hands‑on experience with manufacturing industry is preferred. Any related experience in lithium battery or automotive manufacturing process is a plus.

• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English & Malay language.

  We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.

• Strong knowledge in process control, data analysis (Minitab/JMP), DOE methodology, PFMEA, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.

• Experience with manufacturing automation, process control, statistical process control (SPC) and scaling processes from NPI to high‑volume manufacturing.
