A leading manufacturing company in Pasir Gudang is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to maintain, optimize, and improve plating processes to meet quality and performance targets. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in electroplating, and a degree in Engineering or Science.   • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, especially electroplating.
  • Experience in the leadframe manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to maintain, optimize, and improve plating processes to meet quality, productivity, and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee plating performance, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions

  • Work with cross-functional teams on process capability and yield improvement

  • Troubleshoot process issues and manage yield loss investigations

  • Drive continuous improvement and implement long-term solutions for process and quality issues

  • Develop best practices and innovative methods to enhance productivity

  • Perform statistical data analysis to support process improvement

  • Apply problem-solving tools and risk analysis (FMEA)

Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or Science (Chemical-related preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, especially electroplating

  • Experience in the leadframe manufacturing industry is an added advantage

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools

  • Strong communication skills across all levels

  • Leadership ability with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Energetic, mature, and able to work independently
