Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Penang is looking for a technician experienced in equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics and at least 1-2 years of industrial experience in the Semicon industry. Key responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment availability, and providing technical support. Basic English communication skills and adaptability for shift work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in equipment maintenance in the Semicon Industry.
• Ability to provide technical support and report on troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with equipment operation and basic maintenance.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Hands-on in equipment function, set-up & conversion for all or any equipment type
• Ensure equipment operation and maintenance to achieve equipment availability >90%.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and other groups and sites to provide effective solutions and support for daily production activities.
• Ensure spec compliance and follow OCAP for machine troubleshooting.
• Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability to frequent changes.
• Able to work in a rotational shift work as and when needed.
• Good time planning to complete the task on time
• Provide technical support/solutions to resolve equipment and hardware-related issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) / calibration (CAL) of production equipment.
• Familiar with equipment operation and know basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Basic communication skills and good learning and feedback ability.
• Production line equipment maintenance on shift to meet the planned KPIs goal

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma and major in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, and related.
• Language: Basic English reading and writing ability
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in industrial experience with at least equipment maintenance experience in the Semicon Industry.
• Familiar with equipment operation and know basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Able to write report of equipment troubleshooting
• Basic communication skills, good learning and feedback ability.
• Able to relocate and work in Batu Kawan.
