Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inspection machine programs tailored to product specifications and defect detection
• Hands on machine troubleshooting and oversee the setup of inspection machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide feedback to manufacturing teams for process adjustments to minimize defect generation.
• Collaborate with QA and production teams to identify root causes and corrective action for customer complaints
• Support new product introduction (NPI), strategic projects and engineering change activities.
• Conduct trials and analyze machine defects detection and capabilities
• Support Back End or Front-End process.
• Train and lead operators and inspectors on the proper use of machine systems and defect identification processes.
• Maintain documentation and inspection records for audits and customer reviews.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), or equivalent.
• Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in operating or managing inspection machine in a manufacturing Industry/experience in operating CNC machine and tooling is added as advantage
• Strong knowledge of defect types and inspection criteria in manufacturing
• Able to read and write in English
• Able to work long hours (12 hours) and able to run shift whenever is required
• Able to work in a team and low supervision
